    It is with much sadness that the Baltimore City Retired Fire Officers and Fire Fighters Association announces the passing of Captain Roger Eichelburger formally of Engine 40.

    Death of Retiree Roger Eichelberger, Former captain Engine 40

    Peacefully, September 16,2018, Roger Eichelberger,beloved husband of 64 Yrs. to the late Charlotte ( nee Riley), devoted father of Bruce ( spouse Maggie ), Daniel ( spouse Rosemary ). Judith Fleischman ( spouse Michael ), and the late Amy Hyler, loving brother to Elwood, Harry, Albert, Ralph, Dorothy Rew, and the late Earl. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Roger was a retired Captain in the BTCY Fire Dept., a devout member of Christ Lutheran Church, and many other Community Foundations. Memorial service to be held 1:30pm on Nov 7 at Christ Lutheran Church, 701 South Charles St, Balto, MD 21230. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his honor to the church, or pay forward acts of kindness you have received.
