    It is with deep regret that the Baltimore Fire Officers announce the death of Retired Captain Edward T. Schaeffer, Engine Co. 8.

    Condolences go out to Ed’s family. He was well loved by all who knew him for a long time, or who just made his acquaintance. A great man, officer, and firefighter.
