***Former President of Local 964 and Chief of Fire Department Mr. Peter J. O’Connor***
Local 964 would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the Family of former Local 964 President and Chief of Fire Department Mr. Peter J. O’Connor. Chief O’Conner, former President of the Baltimore Fire Officers, Local 964 and Chief of the Baltimore City Fire Department passed away on March 28, 2019.
Funeral Services for former Chief O’Connor are as follows:
Viewing at Barranco Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park 21148 on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9. Funeral Services at Barranco Funeral Home, Wednesday at 10 am with interment to follow at Parkwood Cemetery, 3310 Taylor Avenue, Parkville 21234.Irish Wake to follow at Local 734 Hall, 1202 Ridgely St., Baltimore, MD 21230.
My deepest sympathies to the O’Connor family in this sad time. Rest in Peace, Chief. Ocean City will never be the same from now on, you will be missed there and everywhere else by the many you have befriended and guided along the way.
My heartfelt sympathies to Kevin and his family at this very sad time. May the Good Lord Bless and keep him. Rest in peace Chief.
My condolences to the O’Connor family at this time. He devoted his life to the Baltimore City Fire Department and all of the people that he met along the way. Always a gentleman and never forgot where he came from and always had time for you when you ran into him. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace my friend.
