Bringing joy to Children less fortunate

Hello Brothers and Sisters of The BCFD. Well it’s that time of year again “Thanksgiving and Christmas “ when we reflect on all we have and how Blessed we are. We look forward to spending time with family and friends celebrating the fruits of our labor as well we should. Our jobs be it Suppression , EMS, Academy, Fire Prevention or Administration is a service to others within itself.

As most know, we have members who for the past 14 years have reached out to our members Active and retired and friends of our Fire Dept Family to assist us in bringing joy to Children less fortunate, be it homeless or hospitalized. With your help we visit hospitals, Sinai, Kennedy Kreiger, Ronald McDonald House, Hackerman Patz, Children living in Shelters in Baltimore City as well as providing for families with young children.

We can not help those mentioned without your continued generosity. We will be accepting new unwrapped toys or monetary donations. Toys can be dropped off at Engine 21, Engine 45 and Engine 41. Monetary donations may be sent to Capt Scott Lake 209 Throttle Ct , Stewartstown, Pa 17363 or Ret. Chief Raymond Devilbiss at 420 Shady Ln, Pasadena, Md 21122. Checks made to BCFD Special Events.
