    It is with much sadness that The Baltimore City Retired Fire Officers and Firefighters Association announces the passing of Lt. Joseph E. Phillips Formerly of Engine 47.

    Fire Department Service 28 Years 11 Months 2 Days

    On Retirement 17 Years 2 Months 1 Day

    Retirees Association Member 17 Years 5 Months 18 Days

    Age 69 Years 11 Days

    Date of Passing August 30, 2020

    Rest in Peace Joseph

    Arrangements will be announced at a later date.

    The Baltimore Fire Officers are saddened by the Passing of our member Joseph E. Phillips. Below is his obituary with arrangements.
    R.I.P. Brother!

      OBITUARY

    Phillips, Joseph E. Jr.
    On August 30, 2020 Joseph (Joey) Phillips Jr.. Beloved son of Joseph J. Phillips Sr. and the late
    Nancy (nee Kriete) Phillips. Loving brother of Karen Schneider and Brenda Kaufman. Cherished
    uncle of Jennifer Beitler, Amanda Kaufman, Daniel Kaufman and Lexi Gagnet. Also survived by
    many other caring relatives and many friends.
    Visitation will be held in St. Clement Church 2700 Washington Ave. Halethorpe, Md. 21227 on
    Wednesday from 11:00 AM till 12:00 Noon at which time a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment
    will follow with Military Honors in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
    Please check back for more information and please kindly wear a mask in church during the
    visitation and Funeral Mass
