    Fire Department Service 38 Years 2 Months 17 Days

    On Retirement 30 Years 10 Months 15 Days

    Retirees Association Member 30 Years11 Months 4 Days

    Age 93 Years 8 Months 4 Days

    Date of Passing march 15, 2021

    Obituary
    Charles A. Mueller, Sr., 93, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, March 15, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side.

    Born July 7, 1927, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Clemens and Rose (Punte) Mueller. Charles was the loving husband of Evelyn F. (Franklin) Mueller with whom he shared 70 years of marriage.

    Charles was a veteran having served his country proudly in the United States Navy during World War II and earning the WWII Victory Medal.

    Charles was a member St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.

    Charles retired in 1990 from the Baltimore City Fire Department as a Fire Officer with thirty-eight years of service. He was a member of Hanover AMVETS Post #22, and the Hanover VFW Post #2506.

    In addition to his loving wife, Evelyn, Charles is survived by his children, Patricia Wheeler, Cynthia Petti, Charles Mueller, Jr., and Joseph Mueller; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Loraine King. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Anthony, Joseph, and Clemens Mueller.

    A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, March 19, 2021 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

    In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Charles to the Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Company, 3003 Baltimore Pike, Hanover, PA 17331.
