Date: May 09, 2018Dickie Altieri, President: IAFF Local 734 **Pension Litigation Update-5/9/18 Last evening the 5 Presidents met with Mayor Pugh to discuss our ongoing Pension Litigation issues. The meeting was about 20 minutes but seemed very productive. The Mayor does seem eager to work out an agreement as long as it doesn’t bankrupt the city. The Mayor and her staff asked us to present a settlement proposal in writing. I will be coordinating a meeting with the other presidents, our lawyers, and actuaries to work on an official proposal. I will continue to keep everyone informed as we progress forward but we will not hold up our trial date in August.
