On May 30, 2020 Charles “Charlie” Frederick Ritz passed away; devoted husband of Gertrude A. Ritz (nee Melovitz); beloved father of Richard M., William F., and Charles A. Ritz; loving grandfather of William J. Ritz, Brian C. Ritz, Jennifer R. Murrin, Jessica Ritz, Erin N. Velotti, and Sarah A. Ritz. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Friday, June 5th, 2020 at 1 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2020 from 11 am – 1 pm.

Interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
