First met Lou when I reported for duty at Engine No 24,back in 1958. Worked with him for short while at that location .Next saw Lou when promoted to floating PO at E 20. Lou was acting BC,and met me at the door with his hand extended,Told me if I needed help at any time ,I had only too callI always considered Lou a friend, and found him to be a true gentleman……Rest in peace brother.
