    It is with much sadness that the Baltimore City Retire Fire officers and Fire Fighters Association announces the passing of Fire Fighter Raymond L. Hooper, Engine 31.

    Fire Department service 15 years, 8 months, 5 Days
    On Retirement 39 Years, 25 Days
    Retiree Association member 39 years 19 Days
    Age 78 Years, 11 Days
    Rest in Peace Ray

    Raymond “Ray” Hooper
    JANUARY 17, 1941–JANUARY 27, 2019
    On January 27, 2019 Raymond “Ray” Hooper, a Retired Baltimore City Firefighter, and former member Boumi Temple, Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons; son of the late William Hooper and Dorothy Wright; dear father of Deborah Hooper; brother of Sharma and Wayne Wright; nephew of Snookie Richards; cousin Mary and the late Bobby Richards, Janice and Jim Lark , Roger and the late Stevie Richards. Ray is also survived by several other loving family and friends.

    Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Burgee Henss Seitz Funeral Home, Inc., 3631 Falls Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21211 on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with Services and Burial at 11:30 am at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.

    My condolences to the family. Worked and socialized with Ray many years ago. RIP Brother.
