Day 4 Update – November 1, 2018

Tom Lowman’s direct examination and cross-examination continued through mid-afternoon. Following Mr. Lowman’s testimony, Plaintiffs rested their case. Defendant moved for directed judgment. The Court deferred ruling on Defendant’s Motion until the close of Defendant’s case. Defendant’s first witness was former Plan Executive Director Thomas Taneyhill. Defendant’s direct examination of Mr. Taneyhill lasted to the end of the day. Plaintiffs will cross-examine Mr. Taneyhill on Friday morning. Adam Reese, Defendant’s actuary expert, is anticipated to follow Mr. Taneyhill.
