It is with much sadness that The Baltimore City Retired Fire Officers and Fire Fighters Association announces the passing of EVD James J. Murphy III, Formally of Truck 5.
Fire Department Service 38 Years 11 Months 8 Days
On Retirement 20 Years 1 Month 11 Days
Retirees Association Member 19 Years 9 Months 8 days
Age 81 Years 10 Months 20 Days
Date of Passing April 15, 2020

Met “Joe’ Murphy 37 years ago. A great Fire Fighter and friend. Taught me alot about East Baltimore and “redmen” on the walls. He told me don’t lean on those walls, never know what you might bring home.
